Owing to internal disputes, the college that has affiliation with Tribhuvan University (TU), Purbanchal University (PU), and the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has two management committees. One is headed by lawmaker Mahendradhwoj GC and the other by former chief of District Development Office, Nawalparasi, Ishwori Prasad Pandey. [break]
Pandey was appointed management committee chairman by TU a year ago. The PU later appointed GC as management committee chief.
The two committees have appointed their own campus chiefs. GC has appointed Durganidhi Chapagain as campus chief, while Pandey has appointed Shiv Shankar Basyal.
Though the two management committee chairmen have their own campus chief, both have the same campus administration.
The campus runs B A classes under TU, degree classes under PU and +2 classes under HSEB.
The two campus chiefs have been regularly trading charges accusing the other of capturing the campus administration and running the campus unilaterally.
The chair of the campus chief is being occupied by Chapagain.
