Speaking at the program, tourism secretary Yagya Prasad Gautam said NAC should be allowed to fix fare on its own so that it can compete with private airlines. Manarup Shahi, executive chairman of NAC, deputy managing director Raju KC and Ganesh also spoke on the occasion. Most of the participants said fleet expansion would help NAC improve its services, according to the statement.
