At a brief press conference organized in the capital after handing over congratulatory message of Janata Dal (United) President Sharad Yadav to Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal for current political dispensation, visiting Janata Dal (United) Chief General Secretary K C Tyagi said the federal democratic republic and sustainable peace can only be institutionalized if all political forces joined hands together. "We are here on a goodwill visit. We are not here to influence any political parties. Nepali political parties themselves should pave the way for making the peace process successful," said Tyagi.
Tyagi, who was accompanied by the general secretary of the South Asia Forum for People´s Initiative in the meeting with Prime Minister Khanal and Maoist Chairman Dahal Friday morning, said they plan to hold broad-based meeting with NC on Saturday. The Indian leaders also met with Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav.
In the congratulatory message handed over Prime Minister Khanal, Janata Dal (United) Chairman Yadav has expressed confidence that that Khanal would take positive steps to integrate all forces that played vital role in overthrowing the monarchy establishing a new just order in Nepal. "The forces of equality and democracy will finally prevail and both Nepal and India can work together for the establishment of peace, progress, prosperity and stability in the region," he added.
Likewise, Yadav has expressed support to Dahal´s efforts being made for peace, progress, prosperity and stability in the region.
