Speaking at Reporters´ Club on Monday, he said the Maoist party will not wait for a long time and won´t delay in announcing any harsh decision if UML fails to implement the pact. [break]
"Maoist will not move ahead as per UML´s signal. Either we will join the government or be in opposition. The party will decide in a few days," he said.
Countering his statement, UML leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha said the Maoist party "trapped" UML by signing the agreement.
"The deadline of the agreement has already expired. Thus, UML will not sit silent, it will work for government expansion."
Similarly, Nepali Congress leader Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said the agreement signed unilaterally will not be implemented. "UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal is the main guilty of the seven-point scam and UML party is to blame too.
Now this government may not last long," he said.
Chitra Bahadur KC of Rastriya Janamorcha said the sacrifice made by the Maoist party in the prime ministerial election is turned out hallow now.
The UML-led government is in trap now, he said.
