The prime minister said the problems cannot be resolved just because of the wish of a single party and that all parties including the Maoists should seek solution together.

He said he had become the prime minister not because of his wish but through the decision of the party and support of 260 CA members of 22 parties at a difficult situation. He said his government focused on peace process and accomplished the task of discharging disqualified Maoist combatants from cantonments.

He urged the Maoists not to terrorize the people by wilding Khukuris and lathis, or else they will face the fate of Pol Pot.
