The gang of around four to five unidentified looters barged into Pant´s house at around 11 pm and robbed the house.[break]
Janaki Panta, 65, mother of Khgendra and his sister in law Durga was also hurt in incident. Both the injured are undergoing treatment at Attariya-based Padma Hospital.
The looters had also fired four to five rounds of shots in the air while robbing the house.
According to Krishnananda Bhatta, Police Inspector at Area Police office, Attariya, a group of police has reached to the site at around 1 am early this morning. However, the looters had already fled the scene as the police reached to the site.
Police have also recovered a bullet of 3-0-3 rifle and a pair of ladies slipper from the incident site. Police said that further investigation is underway on the incident.
