The Himalayan Tiger had been waiting at the airport, along with the organizers of the Golden Cine Professional Wrestling Show 2011, to welcome five international wrestlers from Canada, Spain, the US and Australia. [break]
The wrestlers had arrived in Nepal to take part in the wrestling to be held at the Dasharath Stadium on Saturday. Big Vito is slated to fight as an opponent of Himalayan Tiger.
The situation at the airport got tensed due to the brawl that drew the attention of the astonished crowd. The security personals deputed at the airport too got surprised on seeing the chaos but could not figure out its source.
But later, on learning that the face-off between the wrestlers was a part of the custom of international wrestling, the crowd dispersed.
Earlier, too, Big Vito had fought with Himalayan Tiger at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu and Pokhara. In Kathmandu the angry home crowd hurled chairs and bottles at Big Vito after he knocked the local hero to the mat with an unknown object.
The wrestling to be held Saturday will feature seven international wrestlers and other domestic wrestlers.
