KATHMANDU: Himalayan Enfielder on Saturday clinched the title of First Amarsingh Cup Seven-A-Side Football Tournament with 2-1 victory over Club Moses in the final played at Somtirtha ground, Mulpani. Kamalraj Gurung and Barsad Gurung netted one apiece for the Enfielders to give 2-0 lead until the first half. Nirajan Rayamajhi cut the deficit in the second half for Club Moses but failed to avert the results.
Winner Enfielder bagged a purse of Rs 20,000 and the runner up received Rs 10,000. Rayamajhi was given the highest scorer award for scoring 10 goals. National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Yubaraj Lama among others distributed the prizes.
