Health of Tiwari's wife deteriorates

BIRGUNJ, Sept 28: The health of the wife of slain founder president of the Hindu Yuva Sangh, Kashi Nath Tiwari, has deteriorated on Wednesday. Babita Devi, who has been on fast-unto-death since Monday demanding the arrest of the murderer of her husband, is on a drip since Wednesday morning as her pressure plummeted.



Her blood pressure still is a lowly 60/90, according to Dr Subash Prasad Karna at the Narayani Sub-regional Hospital. Relatives said Babita Devi vomited on five occasions on Wednesday.[break]



Her husband was shot dead on June 26, 2010 leaving her alone to fend for herself and the couple´s three children--an eight-year-old son and two daughters of six and four years.



Aman Kushwaha, who was arrested by the police on charge of killing Kashi Nath, has claimed in his statement that the murder plan was hatched in the presence of Minister of Land Reforms and Management Prabhu Sah and Sah´s personal secretary Siya Ram Kushwaha had pulled the trigger.



The Office of the District Attorney on Tuesday refused to register a charge sheet against Sah at the district court claiming that the investigation documents prepared by Parsa Police against Sah were incomplete.
