“We decided to recall Rana as he did not obey the government´s directives,´´ Yadav said while speaking at a talks program at Reporters´ Club, Nepal in Kathmandu. Yadav informed that a letter to that effect has already been sent to Nepali embassy in India. [break]
According to Minister Yadav, Rana was not only uncooperative but also busy lobbying against the current coalition government.
“He did not even come to Nepal when India´s Minister of External Affairs SM Krishna visited the country last April,” he said. Rana was appointed Nepal´s ambassador to India by the previous government on the recommendation of Nepali Congress. Yadav said the government would appoint new envoy to India after consulting the collation partners. Asked if the government has plans to recall other Nepali envoys also, Yadav said, “There are no such plan.´´
The minister for foreign affairs told the media persons that he has no information about Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pranab Mukharjee´s visit to Nepal as was reported in some section of the media. “I also read the news report about the visit, but I don´t have any idea about his visit to Nepal,´´ Yadav added.
In a separate context, Yadav claimed that the government would not be dissolved before concluding the peace process and constitution drafting. “This government was formed to complete those two tasks and it will continue till they are accomplished.”
Yadav also claimed that the political parties would reach an agreement on the modality for PLA integration in a few days.
