Govt appoints consulate generals

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: The government has appointed Joint Secretary Chandra Kumar Ghimire as the consulate general of Nepal to Kolkata and Joint Secretary Hari Prasad Basyal to Lhasa.



A cabinet meeting held on Tuesday evening took a decision to this effect. [break]



According to Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hrideyesh Tripathi, the cabinet also appointed Joint Secretary Bishnu Lamsal as Economic Consular in the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi.



Similarly, the government transferred Additional Inspector Generals of the Armed Police Force Koshraj Wanta to the Administration Department and Thakur Mohan Shrestha to Working Department.



Likewise, the cabinet meeting appointed Jitendra Singha as the Chairman of Water Supply Corporation.
