KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Gold and silver prices saw a sharp jump in the local market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold surged by Rs 4,600 per tola, trading at Rs 265,000—up from Rs 260,400 on Sunday.
Gold price soars to new record high this week
Silver also followed the upward trend, climbing by Rs 185 per tola to reach Rs 4,685, compared to Rs 4,500 on Sunday.
The sudden rise has caught the attention of investors and traders alike, making gold the center of market discussions this week.
