Gold price drops, silver rises

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is trading at Rs 267,700 per tola, down Rs 400 from Tuesday’s Rs 268,100 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Gold prices fell while silver rose in the Nepali market on Wednesday.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is trading at Rs 267,700 per tola, down Rs 400 from Tuesday’s Rs 268,100 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver rose to Rs 4,935 per tola, up Rs 55 from Tuesday’s Rs 4,880 per tola, FENEGOSIDA reported.


In the international market, gold is currently priced at USD 4,465 per ounce.
