KATHMANDU, June 26: Gold prices gained momentum in the Nepali precious metals market on Friday, rising by Rs 800 per tola, while silver prices moved in the opposite direction.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now being traded at Rs 279,100 per tola, up from Rs 278,300 per tola on Thursday.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Meanwhile, silver prices declined by Rs 55 per tola on Friday, with the metal being traded at Rs 4,180 per tola, according to FENEGOSIDA.
