The team led by GEFONT Lalitpur Chairman, Mingmar Gopal Sherpa handed over the memorandum to Assistant Chief District Officer, Durga Prasad Pokharel.
Receiving the memo, Pokharel said the administration´s attention has been drawn by the demand and pledged to present the charter of demands to the authorities concerned for implementation.
"Daily life of workers has been hit hard due to increasing price of daily consumable commodities and wages and remunerations of workers must be increased considering this reality", said Sherpa.
Similarly, the Federation drew the attention of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries towards its demand on Wednesday.
The delegation visited the Chamber office and submitted a memorandum to General Secretary Ajarman Joshi.
The Federation has also warned of launching an agitation if the demand was not addressed by mid- February.
