Gaur Hospital vandalized over patient's death

RAUTAHAT, Sept 23: Kin of the deceased vandalized the Gaur Hospital, Rautahat, over a death of a patient said to be due to the negligence of doctor.



A poisonous snake had bitten Rameshwor Mahato, 16, of Jhunkhunawa VDC-5 Saturday night while he was sleeping.[break]



According to brother of the deceased, Uday Mahato, Rameshwor died this morning due to negligence of an Assistant Health Worker Sanjeev Mandal even if they brought Rameshwor to the Hospital soon after the snake bite.



Kin of the deceased vandalized the Hospital and have been demanding compensation blaming that Rameshwor died due to the negligence by Mandal.
