All the products at Furniture Land are imported from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
“We have products that can fulfill requirements of every household and prices too are affordable. People of any income group can find furniture items that match their pocket,” said Madan Lal Joshi, managing director of Furniture Land.
For instance, customers can get bedroom set, which includes bed, wardrobe, dresser and side table made of compact wood at Rs 150,000. Relatively expensive sets are also available at the store. Furniture Land also provides free home delivery service.
We have opened showrooms in Maitighar, Blue Star complex in Tripureshwor and Bhatbhateni Super Store in Maharajgunj in order to better serve our customers, said Joshi.
The showrooms deal solely in imported furniture since the beginning as customers largely go for trendy designs. Imported furniture is more attractive, Joshi stated.
“We thought of manufacturing our own local brands too, but shelved the idea as there is a dearth of skilled manpower to deliver quality we wanted,” he added.
“Furniture in this segment is suitable for apartments, new houses and offices,” said Joshi.
According to Pradeep Joshi sales in-charge, the most popular furniture item at Furniture Land is sofas. “That is because sofas we deal in are of superior quality, come in attractive designs and made using best materials,” he stated. The sofas available at Furniture Land come at a price range between Rs 50,000 to Rs 350,000.
Furniture at Furniture Land is made up of pure wood and compact wood, or MDF wood.
As an expert dealer on furniture items, MD Joshi suggests customers not to drag wardrobe. If something goes wrong, he says customers not to try to mend the furniture by themselves as it may be more complex and damage the look and design. To address such problems, Furniture Land offers after sales services as well.
“All that customers need to do is make a call to our post sales service team,” Joshi stated.
