PANCHTHAR, Jan 2: Striker Karna Limbu alone netted four goals for Birtamod Youth Club of Jhapa as it registered a thumping 7-0 win over visiting Sher Club of Kalimpong, India on Sunday in the Eighth Falgunanda Gold Cup Football Tournament being held in Phidim, Panchthar.
Ranjit Shrestha added two goals while Nishan Khadka was also on target for Birtamod as the Jhapa-based team created the base for victory in the first half scoring six goals. Karna of the winning team was declared the man-of-the-match.
A-Division outfit Himalayan Sherpa Club will take on Eleven Arrows of Duhabi, Sunsari on Monday.
