Four seriously injured in accident

NUWAKOT, Nov 24: Seven persons were injured -- four critically -- when a passenger bus (Ba 1 Kha 6353) heading to Trishuli in Nuwakot from Kathmandu met with an accident at a field at Peepaltar in Bidur Municipality-7 of the district, Tuesday.



Those seriously injured are Bimala Tamang of Belkot VDC-5, Apsara Regmi of Belkot VDC-3, co-driver Santosh Shrestha of Tupche and Ramesh Shrestha. They are undergoing treatment at Nuwakot District Hospital in Trishuli while the rest have returned home after treatment, District Police Office Nuwakot said.



The overspeeding bus fell five meters down the road on the field when bus help Ramesh Shrestha was driving it, police said. Police have taken driver Arjun Bhatta in control.
