Former PM Bhattarai's dead body in ashram for tribute

KATHMANDU, March 5: The dead body of the Nepali Congress (NC)´s only surviving founder leader and former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai has been kept in his Ashram at Bandegaun of Lalitpur for tribute.



His mortal body is said to be kept there during the day on Saturday for tribute. [break]



Veteran democratic leader Bhattarai breathed his last at 11.26 PM on Friday while undergoing treatment in Norvic hospital at Thapathali of Kathmandu. He was 87.



Bhattarai was admitted to hospital after the complaints of cardiac, blood pressure and urine related ailments.



Various political party leaders, cadres and well-wishers thronged the Ashram to pay tribute to Bhattarai.
