Fires started in Chame Community Forest on Sunday afternoon and in Taal Community Forest on Saturday and have yet to be brought under control.
Gandaki Zonal Police Office said around a dozen policemen have been mobilized to control the fire in Chame while Nepal Army and police are jointly trying to deal with the one in Taal.
