She said ideally her party had to take decision in that regard only after calling its Mahasamiti meeting. “Making the chief justice the prime minister shows the failure of political parties,” Koirala said. “This will only add to the country’s instability and puts democracy at risk.”
Koirala was of the opinion that the parties have to end the current political stalemate by continuing with the incumbent government and going to new elections after joining the same government.
