According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the delegation, led by FNCSI senior vice president Suresh Pradhan, comprises of FNCSI members and industrialists from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Parbat.
FNCSI said the delegation would not only concentrate on promoting Nepali products but would also hold meetings with delegations of other countries to discuss on matters of mutual benefit and trade. The event will be held between September 11 and September 14.
LG launches festive offer
KATHMANDU, Sept 9: CG Electronics Pvt Ltd, manufacturer and sole authorized distributor of consumer electronics and home appliances of LG Electronics, has announced its Dashain-Tihar festival scheme.
CG Electronics said in a statement Wednesday that the new scheme - Ahai LG - includes prizes from silver coins to LG and CG appliances like steam iron and cooking kits to watches and DVD players with every purchase. Also included are bumper prizes -- refrigerator, TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, DVD player, music system and mobile phone set -- for six people.
The company is offering 20 grams of silver coins on each purchase of a double door refrigerator, an air-conditioning system, a home theatre system, or a TV set of 21-inch or above; while 10 grams of silver coins will be given to buyers of a single door refrigerator, a DVD player, and a 14-inch ultra-slim or 15-inch TV.
Similarly, buyers of LCD TV can get LG DVD player, LG cooking kit is offered with LG microwave oven, CG steam iron is offered with a washing machine, and an LG watch with a conventional 14-inch TV.
Irish Pub offers 25pc discount
KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Irish Pub, a restaurant in Lazimpat which opened its doors in mid-July, has started a discount scheme for its patrons from Wednesday.
Issuing a statement, Irish Pub Pvt Ltd, the operators of the pub, said the discount would be valid on a wide range of spirits including whiskey, gin, vodka, rum and VSOP brandy. The pub also announced new additions in its menu, which includes chicken nuggets, fish cake, fish burger, mushroom with Guinness cream sauce and apple pie.
Starting Wednesday, the pub will also start offering Bushmills whiskeys and draught beer.
