“The political situation is in a transitional phase…. political parties should strike some sort of agreement to protect the country´s economy,” a delegation led by FNCCI President Suraj Vaidya told Koirala.
“The country´s economy, which has already waded through enough troubled waters, cannot brace another turbulence. The country also cannot afford more bandas.
These practices that are crippling the economy and preventing hard-working people from earning their living should come to an end,” Vaidya said.
In response, Koirala said his party was also concerned about current political developments. He pledged full support of his party in not letting the economic condition deteriorate.
