Five injured in YCL-Youth Force clash

RUKUM, April 12: At least five persons were injured when the cadres of the Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League and the UML-affiliated Youth Force clashed Monday afternoon.



The clash ensued after the YCL cadres allegedly dismantled the stage set for the UML´s Rukum district convention scheduled to be inaugurated by party chairman Jhala Nath Khanal.



All the five injured in the clash belong to the YCL. The condition of one Laxman BK, who received deep injury to the head, is said to be critical.



Maoists have alleged that YF cadres attacked YCL men with wood splinters and iron rods.
