The cargo trucks entered Nepal between 8 and 9 am today.

The entry-point was being obstructed form September 24 last year after United Democratic Madhes Morcha (UDMF) launched a sit-in at the Miteri Bridge, no man’s land along the Birgunj-Raxaul entry point.

Cargo trucks entered Nepal after the freight operators removed the barriers set by the UDMF cadres at the Miteri Bridge as there were no protesters staging sit-in.

Similarly, a total of five empty cargo trucks and two jeeps, which were being stranded in the Nepal side, have entered India.
