KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, who is currently on India visit, has met with India's Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Sunday. During the meeting, discussion was held on issues of bilateral interest.
Personal Secretary to the Finance Minister Dhani Ram Sharma informed the National News Agency (RSS) that the Indian Minister for External Affairs Swaraj assured Minister Poudel that India was ready to effectively advance the projects it has funded in Nepal. She also said India would immediately provide the amount it had committed to provide for the reconstruction activities.

Similarly, discussion focused on both sides' efforts to make successful the imminent visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to India.
Earlier, Minister Poudel met with Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Issues of bilateral interests were discussed during the meet, said Finance Minister's advisor Mohan Chapagain.
Minister Poudel's visit is focused chiefly on making the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister Oli to India successful. RSS
