Elderly woman robbed

TANAHUN, Nov 6: An unidentified gang thrashed a 52-year-old woman in Khairenitar VDC-9 of Tanahun on Friday morning and looted her jewelries. Police said the gang looted a ring from Ram Maya Tamang of the same VDC while she was heading to the cowshed. Police have launched a search for the looters.



Meanwhile, 60-year-old Bhuichil Kumal of Gorkha Chyangli-8, who was injured when a bus hit her 20 days ago, died while undergoing treatment in Pokhara on Thursday.
