Ram Prasad Rai, 79, of Bich Ghopa, Dharan-17, committed suicide at around 12:15 in the afternoon in a bush near the Saptarangi Park in Dharan-17, the police said.
In a suicide note found near the body, Rai has written that he was committing suicide as he was ailing and didn´t want to be a burden to anybody, the police added.
Police also found another letter addressed to a shaman at the site.
