Diwakar Bhujel, Officer at the DDC Office, said that though the DDC had aimed to construct total 19 roads through mobilizing central and internal funds, the construction of only eight roads has begun due to financial crunch.[break]
Local Consumer Committee has taken the whole responsibility of the construction. Additional seven rural roads are proposed for construction by mobilizing the central fund, said LDO Bhuwan Prakash Bista.
Among the proposed road sections and allocated costs for each are Chuniya-Namtar-Khairang (Rs.2.5 million), Bhimphedi-Kogate-Ipa (Rs1 million), Simpani-Sarikhet road section (RS 1 million). Likewise Rs.700, 000 has been allocated for Damgade-Mahadev Besi Aagra, Churiyamai-Hatiya-Harnamadi and Phaparbari-Betini road section.
