Eight govt employees nabbed in gambling raid

ROLPA, July 31: Eight government employees have been nabbed from a gambling den in Liwang on Tuesday night.



According to DSP, Om Bahadur Rana Magar, a team of police patrolling in the area, rounded up them from a house of Zuwamang Singh Oli at around 12 midnight.

Police also recovered Rs 25,000 amount in cash from them.[break]



According to DSP Ranamagar, police released them later on condition of not to indulge such kind of activities in the future.



The arrestees have been identified as the employees of various government offices including District Development Committee, District Postal Office, district Forest Office, Janata Bank Limited and VDC secretaries. However, Police is yet to publish the identities of the arrestees.
