Rajesh Sen, 37, Jitpur in Kapilvastu was murdered at Jitpur Chowk in Badganha Municipality-10 on Thursday night.Cadres of the Nepal Tarun Dal and Nepal Students Union demonstrated demanding search for the guilty and stern action against the guilty.
All educational institutions at Taulihawa Badganga, Gajehada and Odari have remained closed following the protest. Likewise, transport service along Taulihawa-Jitpur and markets in Jitpur remain closed. Jitpur chowk is tense.
Unidentified persons on an unidentified number fired bullet at Sen. Sen, who received bullet injury in his chest died on the same night while undergoing treatment at Butwal-based Lumbini Zonal Hospital.
Meanwhile, lawmakers Surendra Raj Acharya and Atahar Kamal demanded the government to take action against the guilty.
