Sharma expressed concern over the issue while in Sanhaita VDC of the district to attend a scholarship distribution program.

"Schools that acquire registration from the DEO but are not operating and even taking advantage of all the government facilities for free should be punished," said Sharma during the program.

"Registration should be offered only to those who have fulfilled all the requirements. Those who do not abide by the law will have to face dire consequences," he said.

In the program, three students studying in grade 11 were granted scholarship worth Rs 5,000 each. Around a dozen people were felicitated for their social contribution in the locality.
