Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Sunsari Chamber of Commerce and Industry are jointly organizing the event from January 6 to 16.
The organizers said the proceeds from the event would be utilized to support a drinking water project in Dharan.
"The fair is mainly aimed at publicizing and promoting agriculture, tourism, industry and local culture," Ashok Tamrakar, coordinator of the event, said at a press conference on Saturday.
He said Rs 1 million out of the total income from the event will be set aside to set up a fund for the drinking water project.
Over 100 stalls will showcase local agro products, handicraft, cottage goods, medicinal herbs, tourism, and local commodities, among others during the festival. Besides the industrial and agro-based goods, there will be different stalls on information technology, innovation in engineering and health sectors.
Cultural programs involving national and local artistes will also be the main features of the event.
