GORKHA, April 27: Death toll in the Saturday's massive earthquake has hit close 400 mark on Tuesday morning in Gorkha district only.

According to District Police Office, police have recovered a total of 375 bodies so far and many more have gone missing till date.
The rescue efforts are yet to begin in various remote VDCs including Laprak, Gumda, Uhiya VDCs located northern parts of the district.
Although a helicopter was sent for Laprak on Monday, it failed to land in the area and returned district headquarters with injured from other locations.
