Dolakha hospitals stop advertising

DOLAKHA, Aug 9: Following reports in Republica and Nagarik dailies last week, hospitals in Dolakha have stopped advertising about their services. The law prohibits medical institutions from placing commercial advertisements about their products and services.



The largest advertiser Dolakha Community Hospital stopped advertising from Sunday, according to Sundar Karki, a hospital staffer. Other health centers, except Tribeni Medical Hall, are learnt to have followed suit.
