Leading stores like Bhat-bhateni Superstore, Saleways Department Store, Bluebird Mart and Bigmart among others have come up with different schemes and discounts offers for customers.[break]
Bhat-bhateni Superstore has announced 10 percent discount on purchase made through Visa debit or credit cards for the month of March. “We have introduced the offer in order to encourage people to shop conveniently by using debit or cards,” said Sharmila Ramtel, customer service executive of Bhat-bhateni Superstore at Narayan Gopal Chowk. Bhat-bhateni Superstore also has outlets in Bouddha, Koteshwar, Bhatbhateni and Pulchowk.
Saleways Department Store is offering up to 50 percent discounts on readymade garments. Besides, the store is providing 5 percent discount on all items for consumers having membership cards issued by it. “Getting membership card is very easy. Customers buying stuffs worth Rs 5,000 can get the membership card by paying Rs 50,” CN Poudel, operation manager at Saleways said. Saleways Department Store has outlets in Jawalakhel and Maharajgunj.
Saleways is soon introducing new range of apparels for the summer, according to Poudel.
Bluebird Mart, another department store in town, is also offering 5 percent discount on all items, except liquors, to its customers. Raj Shrestha, purchase, branding, sales and marketing manager of Bluebird Mart, said the store is providing up to 50 percent discount on selected products. “We are providing up to 50 percent discounts on chocolates, selected wines and whiskeys and juices,” said Shrestha.
Bluebird is soon introducing different brands of juices, frozen foods and chocolates for the summer.
Bigmart stores and City Center and Lazimpat are also providing discounts on selected items for a limited period. Under its Holi offer, the store is giving 25 percent discount on Red Tiger energy drink, 15 percent discount on Richfeel cosmetics, 10 percent discount on selected wines, 5 percent discount on frozen non-vegetable items and Cares juice and 3 percent discount on Pepsi products.
