Dhamala produced in court

KATHMANDU, March 8: Police on Sunday produced Reporters´ Club Nepal Chairman Rishi Dhamala and three others - Ram Shubhak Mahato (also known as Pradeep), Manoj Mahato (also known as Binayak), and Birendra Kumar Mahato - in the Supreme Court to record their statements in the cases relating to attempted murder and abduction.

Dhamala was arrested on February 3. The accused have been charged with extortion and attempted murder.
