Democratic panel maintains lead in NBA election

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The democratic panel led by Sher Bahadur KC has maintained lead in the vote count of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) elections till Wednesday afternoon. The vote count is still underway.



KC has taken lead by 126 votes to his nearest rival Hari Krishna Karki of the progressive-republic group. [break]



KC has amassed 1503 votes against Karki´s 1377 votes. Meanwhile, Surendra Thapa Magar who leads indigenous panel has collected 121 votes.
