Speaking at a function organized by the Judicial Officers´ Society to exchange greetings on the occasion of New Year 2068BS, Shrestha said, “I am thankful to judicial officials for supporting me and hope you will follow the paths I have chosen.” [break]
He also asked judicial officials to deliver speedy justice to service seekers. “Safeguarding the independence of judiciary has become a must at present. I am optimistic that you will keep fighting for the cause of independent judiciary,” said.
Society´s Chairperson Agni Prasad Thapaliya and General Secretary Hemanta Rawal stressed on the need of independent, free, clean and transparent judiciary. Supreme Court justices, Attorney General, district court judges, SC registrar and judicial officers were present at the function.
