Datsun GO+ hits Nepali roads

KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Pioneer Moto Corp, the authorized distributor of Datsun vehicles for Nepal, has launched Datsun GO's Limited Edition -- GO+ at the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2015.

Officials of the company said the Japanese car has now included additional features such as Airbag in this latest edition. "The car won 'Entry Level Hatchback of the Year' at Zegnition Auto Awards this year and comes with powerful 1,200 cc engine ensuring a best-in-class fuel consumption for consumers," the company said in a press release.Likewise, the vehicle comes with ergonomic gear shift and unique parking brake, unrivalled turning radius, and an unmatched 265L boot space.

Gynandra Chand, senior manager of the company said that the Limited Edition of Datsun GO will help to enhance Datsun's market share in Nepali market. "GO+ is price competitive and is the only vehicle with airbags in its segment in Nepal," Chand said, adding, "We are hopeful that it will help to increase our market share in Nepal."

Chand said that the Limited Edition of Datsun GO will be available in five colors-blue, silver, red, white and grey.

The company has also announced the launch of their Dashain scheme -- Datsun Dashing Offer, targeting the upcoming festive season. Under the scheme, customers can now get added benefit of up to Rs 325,000.
