Cyclist dies in accident

KATHMANDU, June 25: A youth died when a night bus hit the bicycle he was riding on Sunday night. The accident took place in front of the Department of Information, Sinamangal at about 8 p.m.

Police identified the deceased as 21-year-old Suraj Shrestha of local Pepsi-Cola. [break]

The bus that operates on the Kathmandu-Birgunj route was heading towards the Tribhuvan International Airport from Gaushala at the time of the accident.

The bus driver Subas Lama is absconding after the accident and police have mounted a search for him.
