It is said Bhim Budhathoki and his wife Chandra Kala Budhathoki of Triyuga Municipality- 11 are on the run swindling around Rs 700,000 of poor women that they had taken from different financial institutions and mothers´ groups in loan for personal purposes.
According to the complaint, the accused had taken the amount promising to return with interest rate, said Police Sub-Inspector of Area Police Office, Jaljale Bijay Kumar Lal Das.
Police said search for the accused is underway.
