He expressed grief saying that failure to institutionalize changes yielded earlier was attributed to lack of seriousness and far-sightedness among Nepali.
The time has not come to assess whether an end to people´s was right or wrong, he commented. ´History will judge its relevance´.
Earlier today, while unveiling a statue of martyr Setu BK, who attained martyrdom during the People´s Movement-ii in Nepalgunj, Chairperson Dahal said that all Nepali should take part in the Constituent Assembly (CA) to institutionalize changes resulted from the sacrifice of the people.
At a program organized on the occasion of Loktantra Day, he further said, ´It is a matter of worry whether the changes gained from the sacrifice and struggle of Nepali people may get collapsed?´.
Expressing grief for not being able to frame a new constitution despite completion of 80 per cent of the tasks, he expressed the confidence that the new CA would complete the residual works of drafting constitution.
He also stressed the need to sort our political issues in unison to fulfill the dream of martyrs.
