Continuous rainfall disrupts domestic flights

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Domestic flights from Kathmandu to other places have been disrupted due to continuous rainfall.



According to Domestic Duty Office of Tribhuvan International Airport, flights to Biratnagar, Pokhara, Simara, Tumlingtar, Bharatpur, among others from Kathmandu have been disrupted. [break]



Prime Minister  Baburam Bhattarai, who is leaving for Pokhara, is also waiting to fly to Pokhara due to bad weather.



He is scheduled to leave for Pokhara from Buddha Air at 10:10 am.



According to the Office, today´s flights have been delayed but have not been cancelled so far.



Flights will be resumed as soon as the weather gets better. Whereas, the international flights have not been disrupted.
