Communist leader Khand passes away

CHITWAN, Sept. 7: Communist leader Nar Bahadur Khand of Gitanagar VDC-6 in the district passed away at the age of 71 Saturday morning.



He was a member of CPN-UML Advisory Council and was the central coordinator of senior citizens forum of the party. [break]



Khand was also the Chairman of Senior Citizens Service Society, Nepal.



He is survived by his two sons and a daughter.



His last rites will be carried out Saturday late afternoon, according to UML, Chitwan.
