Combatants set commanders' vehicle on fire demanding financial details

KATHMANDU, April 10: Maoist combatants in the People´s Liberation Army´s Fourth Division satellite camp at Hattikhor, Nawalparasi set vehicles on fire after the commanders failed to show them financial details.



The vehicles used by Division Vice-commander Kal Bahadur Nath and Brigade Commander Narendra Pandey were set on fire.



The incident occurred after Division commander Tej Bahadur Oli slipped out of a meeting of the brigade after combatants demanded financial details.



The team of Nepal Army hadn´t arrived to the camp to take control of the cantonment´s security as decided by the Special Committee earlier in the day.
