Delayed verdicts by the Courts due to lack of scientific research system, human resources crunch, lack of concrete evidences and others are the problems faced by the judiciary at present, said Regmi.
Saying effective role of all bodies was needed to curb the organized criminal activities, the CJ added lack of implementation of the court’s verdicts from the responsible organizations and bodies was a more challenging issue.
Chairman of Nepal Law Commission Babu Raja Joshi, Secretary at the Ministry of Law Madhav Poudel, President of the Nepal Bar Association Prem Bahadur Khadka, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rabindra Pratap Shah and other speakers said citizens should feel the assurance of the rule of law in the country.
