The meeting dwelt on current political issues, bilateral relationship, Chinese investment in Nepal and co-operation between the Communist Party of China and MPRF-D. [break]
“We told him that our party wants good relations with both China and India and that we are committed to one China policy,” general secretary of MPRF-D Jitendra Dev, who was also present at the meeting.
Chinese envoy Yang had expressed concern over the peace process and constitution writing with MPRF-D leaders.
“Even China will benefit from political stability in Nepal. I hope the peace process and constitution writing will conclude on time,” Dev quoted Yang as saying.
