Chief Secretary Aryal expresses confidence working with interim govt under Gen Z

KATHMANDU, Sep 13: Nepal Government’s Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal has expressed confidence that the civil service administration is ready to work with the new citizen-led interim government to be formed.



Inspecting the damage to physical infrastructure caused during the Gen Z protests in the major administrative hub of Singha Durbar and other places, Chief Secretary Aryal said that instructions have been given to continue operating essential services online.

“Essential services of the country are being operated without disruption and we have directed the concerned agencies to make service delivery more effective,” Aryal told journalists on Friday, adding, “From passports to foreign employment-related services, everything has already been started online.”


Aryal further stated that essential services such as drinking water, electricity and telephone have also been instructed to ensure uninterrupted delivery to the public. He also urged everyone to return to work, saying the security situation is gradually returning to normal.
